The Artist
Lovingly nicknamed 'the faerie' by her friends, Hanna began exploring art through manga as a child, before discovering portrait illustration from her mother. After that she searched endlessly for photographs to illustrate with charcoal and pencil.
Her interest in drawing people morphed into an obsession with artistry through movement in dance. This passion continued in college through anatomy and physiology research, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in movement science.
In 2021, she began learning digital art after getting inspired by the bookish art community on social media. In 2022 she became licensed to illustrate character prints with the permission of Sarah J. Mass's licensing program. Finally in 2023 she opened her own art studio company, TheHannaNguyen Studios, where she designs character portrait art.
Hanna's imagination is her weapon, and creativity is her lifeline. When she is not drawing, she either hyper focusing on her current creative writing project, singing, dancing, or dabbling in music theory.
